President Barack Obama’s approval ratings have increased to 54 percent, which is up from 48 percent in early April. According to the recent CNN poll, it is mainly due to his foreign policy. However, the battle for 2012 will mostly be about the economy, which only 41 percent of the people polled approved of how he is handling the economy .

*Debt ceiling battle:  The House on Tuesday rejected a debt ceiling increase in a 318-97 vote. This vote was a symbolic one meant to send a message to budget negotiators.  President Obama responded by meeting with House Republicans on Wednesday and House Democrats on Thursday. Agreement over raising the debt ceiling is still far off and the authority to borrow under the $14.29 trillion debt limit will expire on Aug. 2.
 * John Edwards , breaking news Friday that former Democratic vice-presidential nominee John Edwards has been indicted by a grand jury on six counts, including conspiracy, issuing false statements and violating campaign contribution laws. He faces up to 30 years in prison and a maximum fine of $1.5 million if found guilty. The grand jury has been investigating that money given to support his mistress, Rielle Hunter, whom he had a child with, by benefactors of Edwards, should have been considered campaign donations. Edwards plead not guilty this morning (CNN).

Kim Zolciak, a star of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and girlfriend of Atlanta Falcon Kroy Biermann, announced Tuesday she's given birth to a boy.
Zolciak announced the birth of Kroy Jagger Biermann on her Twitter account

"[Kroy] and I are happy to announce the birth of our son today Kroy Jagger Biermann is healthy & beautiful We are so in love!" Zolciak tweeted.

Bishop Eddie Long Settles

Disgraced New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Bishop Eddie Long has  paid serious bucks to make his sexual indiscretions go away quietly.




According to online reports, Long settled out of court with his 4 male accusers, who were teenagers of legal age when he plied them with cash and gifts in exchange for sex. Maurice Robinson, 21, Anthony Flagg, 22, Jamal Parris and another man, claimed the Bishop “coerced” and “enticed” them with exotic trips, clothing and cars. In one case, he paid the young man’s college tuition.

Long was a fierce opponent of gay marriage and often preached anti-gay sermons from the pulpit. All the while a fire burned inside him that only the touch of young boys could extinguish.

Long vigorously denied the allegations when the news broke last September. Throughout the ordeal the Bishop’s long suffering wife and their four grown children stood beside him. Their support never wavered.


Myopiniononly:: the young men who sued him should not have they had already been paid for there services , i feel the Bishop was wrong but the men according to the state of Georgia were of legal age and could consent to any activities they chose to do with the Bishop Eddie Long ..therefore since no criminal charges why go to court, I didnt know u could sue for enticing , i need to take a few folks to court #justsayin

Last Night on his Twitter @MistahFab announced he has decided to take his talents to Venice Beach...LA LA land Hollywood to be exact  , The  Independent Rapper born Stanley Cox , aka Prince of the Bay is expected to be relocated within the next few months . I'm sure this is just a career move for Fabby, as he will always have love and be respected in the town ..he should really get a reality show for the love of Fabby Davis..that would be a hit someone let VH1 know lol..Best wishes Mistah Fab
